WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and is the final rule for faith and practice.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will one day return.

Man

We believe all people are created in the image of God but have sinned and are separated from Him. Because of this sin, all are under God’s righteous judgment and unable to save themselves.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace and cannot be earned by human effort. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. His atoning work on the cross fully satisfies the justice of God and provides the only basis for salvation. When a sinner turns from sin and trusts Christ, he or she is justified—declared righteous before God. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and that He lives in every believer, empowering them to grow in holiness and to serve God.

The Church

We believe the local church is a community of believers who gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission.

Christian Living

We believe Christians are called to love God, love others, pursue holiness, share the gospel, and live according to Scripture.
